Do you remember where you were when you first saw Ursula Andress wear her bikini in Dr. No? Yeah, as the Bond girl she set the standard for the list that you are about to read. Listed below are 15 of our favorite Bond girls and where they are today.

Eunice Gayson

If we want to get technical it was Enuice Gayson in the From Russia With Love who probably had a bigger impact, mostly due to how great the film was. Gayson portrayed Sylvia Trench after passing up on the role of Miss Moneypenny. Gayson would only show up in a sprinkling of TV shows after her role in the series, ultimately retiring 10 years later.

Ursula Andress

We’ll slot Andress in second on this list for sending men to their brain injury attorney to find out what they were seeing in Dr. No. The moment Andress emerged from the ocean in her two piece bikini, well, it made film history. Honey Ryder is a Bond legend and Andress stayed busy in Hollywood until 2005.

Daniela Bianchi

How’s your health after revisiting Honey Ryder’s triumphant entrance? Good? Good. Next up we have Daniela Bianchi who played the part of Tatiana Romanova in From Russia With Love. Bianchi has aged like fine wine though she got out of the entertainment industry fairly early, retiring five years after her role as Romanova.

Shirley Eaton

Shirley Eaton landed, perhaps, the most iconic shot of all time for a Bond: the golden girl Jill Masterson in Goldfinger. Eaton was only in the film briefly but it was enough to rock the cinematic world. Eaton would stick in Hollywood until 1969 before retiring. Ladies at home: don’t coat yourself in gold as we’re pretty sure that it is a quick way to suffer a depression and spinal cord injury. Leave this one to showbiz.

Claudine Auger

Auger appeared as Dominiquie Derval in the ’65 film Thunderball. You might also know Claudine’s character as ‘Domino’. Auger was a model who quickly found fame when she was pulled into the legendary franchise and the orbit of 007 himself. Auger went back to France to continue her career, eventually retiring in ’97.

Jane Seymour

Check our heart rate because Jane Seymour has our health failing. Seymour landed the role of Solitaire in the ’73 Bond classic Live and Let Die. Seymour is probably the most celebrate actress on this list with her own Emmy, a Golden Globe or two, and her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Diana Rigg

It would take a sharp eye to catch but one of our favorite Game of Thrones actors started her career as a Bond girl! Rigg landed the role of Countess Teresa di Vicenzo in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service as Bond’s actual wife. Now Rigg is stealing the show as Olenna Tyrell in the hit HBO series, Game of Thrones. It’s safe to say that Rigg has shaken off any potential typecasting for her career!

Maud Adams

How many people out there can say that they were two different Bond girls? Maud Adams played Andrea Anders in The Man with the Golden Gun and then she played the titular character in the ’83 film, Octopussy. Adams went from super model to super star with her run in the Bond world and she looks as good as ever nowadays. Adams’ physical trainer calls her a ‘perfect physical specimen’.

Gloria Hendry

Hendry made headlines when she became the first black Bond Girl in the series, starring next to Jane Seymour in Live and Let Die. Hendry was a delight as the CIA agent Rosie Carver and fans reveled in her butt kicking abilities. Unfortunately it seems that Hollywood was not for Hendry as her career quickly waned.

Alison Doody

Man, does Doody look good! Alison Doody was raised in Dublin where she studied at a convent before taking to the arts. Doody made her feature film breakthrough with A View to Kill as the incomparable Jenny Flex. Doody continues to work in film and she continues to look almost vampyric in her youth. Seriously, what is this woman’s skincare regime?

Halle Berry

Berry’s career as a Bond girl started with an homage to Ursul Andress: the beautiful actress emerge from the ocean in a two piece bikini. Berry played Jinx Johnson in Die Another Day and she instantly became a fan favorite. Berry, like many entertainers on this list, had a solid career coming into the franchise as she was coming off of an Oscar win for Monster’s Ball. Berry would later go on to take on the role of Catwoman and the rest was history. Still, Berry looks to be bouncing back and we could see the once revered Bond girl back at the top of her game. Berry was most recently nominated for a Golden Globe in the film, Frankie & Alice.

Michelle Yeoh

Yeoh was more than just a pretty face in the hit-or-miss film, Tomorrow Never Dies. Michelle Yeoh played the part of Wai Lin, an ally to James Bond. She was almost universally revered by critics as one of the first Bond girls to actually have something going for her that could be taken seriously. Wai Lin held her own in the film and her popularity even drove executives to consider giving the character a spin off. This hasn’t happened yet but that hasn’t hurt Michelle Yeoh’s career. Yeoh is a BAFTA winning actress with work in several hit series including Marco Polo, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny and even the up and coming Star Trek: Discovery. Yeah, she’s going to be just fine.

Famke Janssen

Janssen is an onscreen killer through and through. Famke Janssen landed the role of the powerful Xenia Onatopp in 1995’s GoldenEye. In the film Janssen’s character would singlehandedly kill people with the power of her legs — squeezing their heads in between her thighs. More people probably recognize Janssen as the ultra powerful Jean Grey from the hit X-Men films. Janssen has appeared in 61 different projects with her most recent hit work coming from television with the series: The Blacklist, How to Get Away With Murder, and Hemlock Grove.
